Thorium Space closed another round of financing, in which it raised PLN 8.4 million at a pre-money valuation of PLN 186 million, 25% higher than the previous fall round in 2022. Thorium is looking particularly favorably toward the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, and is considering a dual listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The completed financing round meets the financing needs for the development of dedicated integrated circuits (MMICs) of the company’s own design. It is a step toward independence from the ability to procure critical components needed to build state-of-the-art satellite telecommunications systems, and ensures Thorium’s strong position in the European supply chain for semiconductor components that will potentially be used f.e. in the IRIS2.
