Thorium Space has successfully received funding for the project "SUBCOM - Satellite remote sensing and communication system for suborbital research rockets"
A consortium of Thorium Space and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation has received funding from the National Center for Research and Development for the SUBCOM project – an innovative communications system for space and rocket applications. The total amount of the grant was PLN 38,774,065.38, while the value of the project is PLN 47,041,758.38. The work will culminate in the launch of a mini-constellation of three cubesat satellites equipped with retransmission modules in low earth orbit (LEO, Low-Earth Orbit) (Rocket and Satellite Propulsion Laboratory Center to be established).
