The transponder and Ka-band antenna have been found to be among the best manufacturing solutions in space technology. Thorium Space is developing an ultra-slim active array antenna that uses high radio frequencies from the E and K/Ka bands along with transponders. As a result of the high frequency, interference from the ground or space is relatively low. What’s more, the solution increases overall system throughput and capacity compared to existing antenna solutions.
